Dinner for one is simple with our range of Nou Gaan Ons Braai Basting Sauces.
Ingredients
500 grams Steak (Sirloin or Rump)
2 x Large Potatoes
2 tablespoon Oil
1 pinch Fine Salt
1 tablespoon Chip ‘n Dip 1000 Island Sauce
Directions
- Chips:
- Heat oil in a pot and allow it to get extremely hot
- Add the potatoes to the oil while it is boiling hot and fry until golden brown
- Remove chips from the pot and place on oil absorbing paper
- Toss chips with salt and place on serving dish
- Pour Chip ‘n Dip 1000 Island Sauce all over the chips when ready to be served
- Steak:
- Marinade steak overnight with Nou Gaan Ons Braai Extra Hot Peri Peri Basting Sauce to give the steak a mouthwatering taste
- Place the steak on a grill pan on high heat and grill meat
- Each time you turn over the meat brush on fresh basting sauce
- Once it is done to your liking remove from pan and place on a plate
- Brush the steak once plated to leave a succulent glow
